The Alpine School District boundaries include schools in communities along Interstate 15 from just north of Lehi, Utah to just north of Provo, Utah, a total of 70 public schools.

The Alpine School District is devoted to helping children by including families in their education. They publish a newsletter for families entitled Helping Children Learn, in which they discuss ways to help children perform better academically. Parents are instructed on ways to develop a child's vocabulary and encouraged to keep in contact with teachers.

The Alpine School District also provides educational services to students with special needs or disabilities. Other services include programs for talented and gifted students.

It's the largest storytelling festival in the West - the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival - held every year in Orem, Utah in late August or early September.
